What we did was we looked in the back yard and realized that we had a grill. The grill has not been in use for what seemed like years but we thought we would give it a try. So we went to the store and bought ourselfs some CHEEP meat. I stalked up and have about 5 lbs of meat in the freezer.
We went all out. Meats, veggies, potatos, and sauted mushrooms and onions. All with the family and that one dude that is with Ashley (the blond)
We cannot go threw a meal let alone a day without some sort of mess. You can see that Ashley missed her sallad with the ranch and it splaterd next to her fork.
Well that is the first stake I have ever grilled by myself. I went and did something new (mostly because my dad would have never done it for me, something about the value of meat) I soaked it for a bit in Dr. Pepper. It tasted like a stake, im not going to lie. We all contributed to the making of this dinner, I bought the Mushroomes and got the grill to stay alive.
And what would a dinner blog be without a person that I met on one of my tours? This man and his wife were wearing the same tye of sweat shirts and they are form the surounding Portland area. Not bad people.
I finally had a day off and it was a nice day! so what did I decide to do? How does a plane ride sound?
I was able to sit in shotgun that was great.
Every one in Alaska has some sort of bad facial hair so I thought I could blend right in.

About 10,000 years ago this was all glacier. that is what formed the ridges here.
Here is the Alaska that you all see in the movies. this is my back yard.
We hit a small snow storm.
We landed in a lake and was able to get outside.
Me out in the middle of no where Alaska... The best.
The green is all old logging roads. they didn't up keep it so now the red alders are growing. if you want to know more about red alders you have to go on my tour.
Here we have a old volcano. this is the cor of it and now it is hosting a nest to some Bald Eagles. you might be able to zoom into it look about 10 or 11 on the core and you could see an eagle.

There is a princess cruse ship and my house in the distance.
There is some of Ketchikan on the other side. as well as Gens old house. Gen by the way is my girl friend.
But the real reason i came to Alaska is for this. Two lbs of Jelly Beans that cost me an arm and a leg. But they taste so good.
And here is a cupple of photos of my new friend that I found on the middle of the road. No I did not burn him in the fire im not THAT mean. I picked him up and set him on the moss.
They call this the Indiana bridge. its fairly long and extremely shaky.
Can you handle this mom? Eagle creek is a lot higher up.
I don't know if you can see the end platform, but maybe if you fallow the two cords all the way down the dense woods.
